Very cool. I was thinking they would make great 28mm guns of Navarino pieces

Heard a story once. During the battle of Briton a British officer was looking for positions to place railroad guns in case of an invasion. He found a set of tracks in a good location and followed them to a shed and when he looked in there were two 9.2 inch railroad guns. Seems that the position and guns had been setup during WWI and after the war locals were paid to maintain the shed and oil and clean the guns. The locals were paid but the guns were forgotten.
