Does anybody know about the quality of these sTL files? The digital renderings look great. Just curious if anyone has printed their miniatures.

I have their entire Ancients Kickstarter and can attest to the integrity of that offering at least. They responded quickly to every query I had to my satisfaction. I support my figures myself but found the few pre-supported files I did print in the ancients Kickstarter printed well. If I had an interest in that scale I would not have hesitated to go all in on the Stanford Bridge offering….

It is all a question of what style of figures you like. To me these look like a cross between Oliver Postgate's Noggin the Nog and Lego. Even though they are old sculpts, I find the Pendraken 10mm much more satisfactory. Each to their own!

On the frontiers of self plotting armies finding acceptable sculpts is just as as important today as it ever was. Material cost to print a 28mm figure for $0.12 USD US or a 15mm for less than half that is hard for the impulsive gamer to resist once the .stl files are acquired. Rationalizing the purchase of a printer gets easier every day as the cost of awesome Kickstarter armies and the cost to print them becomes irresistible. Cast miniatures is all but legacy thinking at this point.

Those would be perfect for Middle Earth dwarves.
