Here's a rather bucolic scene sometime during the Napoleonic Wars, with British infantry and cavalry relaxing in camp. These are all Perry Miniatures figures from their 28mm metal Napoleonic British range. They come as separate sets depicting various scenes of camp life. The fun with these sets is arranging them on their base to tell a story. More pics on my blog here: link

Nice. My only comment would be that if they were in camp would they wear their jacket to do chores like chopping wood etc.? |

These are great and just the sort of thing to give a wargames army some personality. On my radar but there's always something else pushing ahead of them in the wants list. The British in the Peninsula [in common no doubt with other srmies] lived rough frequently with no shelter-I think tents weren't standard issue till 1813? I don't know how they survived. |
