Has anyone played the 2nd Edition of these rules? There are quite a few older posts but they all seem to reference 1st Edition.

Thanks for any reflections from your experience with this interesting set of rules.

Yes, 2nd edition only update amd made clarification for some rules, not that much changed between editions.

The game is between skirmish and big unit battle with a warband being a few block units and characters.

With the placing of command counts for unit actions becomes a game of phycological guess of what command did your opponent place and which one to active first.

Great set of rules! The activation system is so fun because even if you won the initiative you can choose an opponent's unit to activate on your turn. So that charge they were planning to use after you moved into range falls short and when your unit is activated it can get a big advantage.

Olympus rules are out now and the only differences are the rules for the Olympian units and characters.
