This is a nice little Trek ship model that could work for a large number of 28mm or 15mm milieu. And it is ripe for a little conversion project to light it up. |

With this model, you could absolutely do that. Since you are not going to glue the base to the upper hull (lots of space in there), I would recommend neodymium magnets to hold it closed. You would probably want to add a "handle point" – just a little bit sticking out – for leverage to open and close it. |
