Hello everyone,

I am looking for documentation on the Simba of Congo in 1964 '…

For the moment I have only bought the M.A.A. n ° 492, but there is very little mention of their internal organizations …

Do you know a specific book with everything you need to know about the Simba in military terms?

Their organization, their strength, their armament, their uniforms ect …

Even if it is a difficult task to study such an "army".

Thank you.

This probably calls for some historical research. There are some good histories of the Simbas that you can probably find at the library or through interlibrary loan. I read several of them about 40 years ago. I'm sure there is more recent work out there.

UN archives would be another resource.

Helion has books on that topic. I am not as well versed so here is their Africa series.

Thank you because it has become a real passion since I understood what the Congo suffered victims of the colonialism like many other African nations and others nations on earth, and what the mulelists wanted and the martyrdom suffered by Pierre Mulele and Théodore Bengila …
