Good afternoon everyone,

I'm just wondering if people post elsewhere and what are the most active Napoleonic Forums that you are aware of?

I would like to link to posts on my blog like the one below

A few forums that I post to have little to no engagement.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

J

The most active place for gaming posts, including Napoleonics, is Facebook. These are ones that I follow, there are others to choose from as well:

Napoleonic Miniatures Wargaming

Napoleonic 15mm Wargamer

DBN Fr De Bellis Napoleonicis

As advertised, this is aimed at DBN and wouldn't be the place for not-DBN gaming. But mentioning it because it's my favourite and really shows what FB can do very well. It's headed up by a group of players working on an official translation of the rules into French. Many posts are in French, but there are worldwide members who post in a variety of languages, and Facebook's translate function works well enough that we can all chat! If the FB translation seems particularly off the rails, I'll copy and paste the original text into Google Translate and see what that comes up with.

For relatively basic posts, I'll post with my somewhat rusty French; but when that fails me, I can post in English and let others use the auto-translation if they need it.

Et Sans Resultat (ESR) also has a facebook group. It's very helpful if you play those rules as the designer(s) answer questions within a day at most.
