Well deserved.

Both of them will be able to share stories about their time in Korea.

I watched the White House ceremony on CNN.

Yes my son who works for the Infantry Museum and part of the executive staff of the Infantry Association has been involved in the preparation of the ceremony. He sees Colonel Puckett every week. They both are involved in making th Infantry Association a stronger organization.
Well deserved award if you read the story of him and his Rangers holding off wave after wave of Chinese troops.
He also won the Distinguished Service Cross during the Vietnam War later.

The Ranger company was only 50 men with an attached platoon of ROK troops.

I watched the White House ceremony on FOX.

Among his many decorations, I also heard he had 5 Purple Hearts.

jdpintex21 May 2021 9:52 p.m. PST

It was well deserved.

But why did it take so long. 70 years is a long review period.

period."

Granted – but not as long as Alonzo Cushing's.

I salute his courage and commitment to his duty and gratefully thank him for his service.

What a shining example.

My son says that despite his severe case of Parkinson's he is great to talk to during their weekly chats. Even at 93 he tries to be active at the museum and association.
