"Old RPG magazine article about exploring magical islands" Topic

I might be going mad and imgagining it but I remember an advnture from the late 1980's or early 1990's in one of the RPG magazines of the time.

I don't remember too many details but the party had to explore a number of little islands. I think it had a general Celtic or Arthurian theme – one island was a faerie realm where the adventurers fell asleep for several years. I think they might have fought werewolves on another island.

Does anyone remmeber this and even better what magazine it was in?

I think it would make a good skirmish game.

It sounds like it would make a good tv series, too.

Could it have been one of the D&D Gazetteers? I remember one of them was set one a series of islands.

check Adventure Magazine but no Island Adventures in issues 1 – 11

Richinq – yeah, I thought it was actually in Adventurer magazine but I've checked that one and couldn't see it. The usual ones I got were WD (but not in there), Dragon, Adventurer, and GM. I migth have got the odd copy of others too.
