Painting the above and completed the homesteaders/civilians. Simple enough.

Not sure how to tackle provincials. Planning to paint as the Jersey Blues. Some have coats, most seem to just be wearing the waistcoats. How do I paint them? Thinking of painting figures without coats as wearing the blue breeches and the red waistcoat only. Does this make sense?
