I've set up a FB discussion group for any like minded folk that enjoy the characterful sculpted miniatures. Entitled in homage to the Yahoo group, this has a wider remit for any of those figures from bygone time. So if you like strip minifigs or valley of the four winds come and have a look link thanks Simon |

I don't do Fb unfortunately, but good luck with the group. I am an ardent fan of the strips and had a few MM way back. They need more love :) |

They were beautiful figures. Pity about the Facebook thing, but when foreign intelligence services want my personal data, I don't want them paying off some billionaire in California. |

Likewise, don't do FB, but do vintage figures including a few Mythical Earth and one of friends does Mike's Models TYW. |

You know you've been in this hobby a long time if you had an army made up of Mike's Models or MinFigs strips |

Still got a load of ancient armies made from Mike's models figures. Sold one just a month ago…think it was my first ever ancient army….in all senses of the word as it must have been over 40 years old |

I was enthusing to someone about my 15mm Ottoman army. "Yes, I liked those figures. I sculpted them" he said. It was Ally Morrison. |

My entire English Civil War collection (5 armies) and Elizabethan Ireland collection are Mikes Models. They were the first wargame figures I ever bought. I loved the little guys then and love them even more now! I don't do the Facebook thing but good luck with the project. Tom D |

when first got into 15mm (lo these many years ago) bought Minifigs strips, did not care for them. A friend introduced me to Mikes Models and I never looked back. By the by does anyone remember Peter Laings 15mm figs, they were basic but were a good source for things like Kettle drummers and hautboys (oboes) for 18th century armies. |

A great buddy of mine had a feudal English army made up of Mikes Models. He routinely kicked my butt with those. I always liked the knights a lot. Great character to them. |

Might be a few here (and some of his other listings): auction He has a few Minifigs as well. |

Gawd I had dozens of those, long since gone the way of the dodo unfortunately. Like many of you, one of my regrets is that I never had a FB account. I wanted one just so I could cancel their worthless A$$es |

Loved Mike's Models back in the 1970s and 1980s. Their detail was incredible. We took them and Minifig Samurai to the MI photo imaging office at Fort Hood and compared them under a photo magnifying glass. MM won the comparison. Later in about 1984 or 85, I bought all the remaining stock of MM from the American distributor. Later sold them by the pound at shows. Lol |
