My first thought was that he looked just Roger Stone, and I thought "No, that can't be right!" grin
Lloyd Bentsen maybe?

Anyway, the whole photoshop project shows what can be accomplished with too much time on your hands during lockdown.
I like the comment from "the world's foremost George Washington impersonator" (I didn't know that was a job!) that George was a bit of a fashion snob.
Great politician smile.

Is it too much to wish that, like Arthur or Roland, Washington would return to the aid of the country he built in the time of its greatest need?

It's not too much to ask, but it is too much to hope for.

He's better looking than Roger Stone. He still needs a makeover, though. Dental work (The slave teeth have to go!), lip injections, maybe some Botox.

He wasn't fashionable in the "Dans le vent" sort of way but he was like the man who wears beautiful 1960s Brooks Brothers suits; dated, traditional but proper and appealing in the nostalgic sense. His old uniform did set the tone for all American generals and perhaps for the army as a whole.

It's hard to think that he would be down with BLM. However, I doubt he would be a MAGA man either. I dont know if there are any politicians left like him. He would be more of a throwback to the 1980s when there were still a lot of Brahmins in Congress rather than the strident opportunists we are afflicted with now.

OK, he maaay have been a little MAGA. But at least we know he wouldn't have been an anti-vaxxer

Doc, that is fantastic.

A far better use of Mr. Hardy's time during the Covid-19 shut down than creating stupid scam e-mails to try and run off with my money.

Who admittedly hasn't made particularly good use of his time during the shut down . . . the high point was probably the chocolate chip cookies.

A most excellent re-creation of a most excellent politician.

Was that actually his presidential slogan "MA!"

Heck, even JFK is MAGA compared to the Marxists in our government today.

Grrrrrr

The artist could have just used Charles Dance for the model and saved half the fee. Old George looks to be his twin.

You mean the Marxists who are fanboys of the ex-KGB agent residing in the Kremlin. MAGA loves that Marxist.

Lol! Imagine that, throwin' around the Marist label, shows a complete lack of understanding as to what a Marxist is, and that wouldn't be George Washington. ; )
