Hello eveyone, What manufactures offer 28mm figures for the Spanish army from the first half of the 18th century? Thank you. |

1740s would be Crann Tara. They probably would work for 1718 on. From 1707 to 1720, most French War of Spanish Succession figures would work. Ebor has specific figures for them and has battalion and brigade deals with flags, etc. |

Front Rank figures for the War of the Spanish Succession are absolutely stunning. |

One note about Spanish uniforms of the 1970s. The units wore regimental coats many years after new styles were introduced. This was especially true for the Americas and other overseas locations. When Galvez was forming the Spanish expeditions, several governors commented that their troops were still wearing (paraphrase) Seven Years War era uniform coats. |

RudyNelson, I don't think that those uniform coats would have looked all that strange in the 1970s…lol |

Anyone know what ever happened to the molds for the 18C Spanish that the London War Room made? I know that was yonks ago but I recall them being pretty good. |

enfant perdus I believe Dayton Painting Consortium sells the 18C Spanish from London War Room. It is under their 25mm SYW figures (on the last page). |

Thank you, but were the Spanish uniforms and tricorns of the WSS still worn during the WAS in the middle of the 18th century? |
