The Royal Mail has released a Wars of the Roses commemorative stamps set. link The stamps' illustrations are all culled from the Osprey series of books. Barry |

Actually the stamps are all from original paintings by Graham Turner that Osprey have used. I have several of his prints and you can get prints of his paintings from here link |

OK, I realize they are just describing the postal rates, but somehow listing Tewkesbury and Bosworth as "2nd Class" doesn't seem quite right. There is something exciting about seeing the lilies of France quartered with the lions of England, though. Grelber |
