I was unable to identify the photo with the swimming gear, but I felt it was interesting enough to include as a generic example of a "combat swimmer" type rig. Rarely do you see any identifying markings on the uniforms or equipment. The IDF is definitely over-represented. Personal photos seem to be more common in countries with universal conscription, but many nations discourage the practice. Israel doesn't appear to have a problem with it. |
