Good point- but at least in WWI, the French 75 only had two types of rounds – shrapnel and high explosive! |

If you disable the fuses (or take them out), HE shells make quite effective AP rounds against metal plate. Six inches of face hardened armour? no. A giant made of its of ifon? yes. 155mm HE will demolish pretty much anything it hits though. |
