On this morning's episode: A guy is finishing up some figures -15mm Sherden, Shardana, Sardinians, Bronze Age "sea people" He knows he has 24 figures in the pack, and he is sure that all 24 have been painted. He accidentally knocks a bottle of paint, thankfully closed, onto the floor, and when he bends down to pick it up, his sleeve brushes against a figure and it falls to the floor. He doesn't see this happen, but hears it, and when he checks the figures agin there are now 23 0n the table. He gets down on all fours to run his hands through the carpet monster, but no luck. He then begins to check various rooms, The kitchen? No luck. Then, as he is passing through the living room, something bright and metallic on the floor catches his eye. He stops to examine this object, and it is a 15mm Sherden warrior…. unpainted! Does this mean there is another dimension where some alien race is busily stripping our lost figures? The only damage the figure sustained is a bent shield, his javelin is still nicely straight! How is it possible that the figure's shield is now convex, indicating it has been tread upon, but the very flimsy javelin remains intact?

Call your dog and see if he sheepishly grins at you.

Dog or cat, or stuck to your sock then fell off and was tread on in just the exact way so as to bend the shield but save the javelin.

Or ghosts.

Perhaps as it fell off that painting table it also fell thru a hole in time and space landing in another room before it was painted. God only knows what realms it passed thru and what damage was done on the way.

You probably have a layer of paint stripper, or turps fumes just above the carpet. I'd open a window, it must be quite powerful to strip a figure that quick !??

I like the thought that this is the wotk of Brownie. Maybe if I leave little treats for them th37 will paint the figures for me. or I'll have a bad mice infestation.

Obviously, it went back in time. You have a ripple in your living room.

Pretty clearly a time warp phenomenon.
