Tango, Britain only has 1 armoured/high intensity division with 3 brigades and it is scheduled to lose some capability. Britain also lacks strategic lift to deploy an armoured brigade let alone a whole division to the far east. In any case comparing 1 on 1 doesn't really equate. A Chinese or US brigade may appear weaker or stronger but that doesn't take into account other force multipliers and enablers such as "bolt on" independent artillery, EW, AD and reconnaissance capabilities, air support or more critically C3 capabilities.
Numbers also count. As Nagorno Karabakh showed you need large amounts of reserves to maintain numbers. |
