Just picked up a box of these little beauties, usable for High Fantasy, VSF, regular Sci-Fi or Post-Apocalypse. Crisply molded with tons of options. More here link

Thank you for the review: I've been watching these move along at Wargames Atlantic from hints to coming soon, to pre-order now. Hoping to buy a box in the coming months.

How are they to assemble? I've done very few plastic figures, and I'm a bit wary about assembly and possible modification.

Did you buy them mail order, or through a local store?

Nice review and very tempting. Thanks! But I think you mean less than $2 USD per figure rather than $2 USD per box?

Greiber,
I use old-fashioned tube cement and I find assembling them a breeze. I also have a habit of converting plastic minis, I have undertaken significant conversions on Wargames Atlantic's WW1 Germans (see here link ) and Irish link All you need is a sharp X-Acto knife and some imagination.

Virtualscratchbuilder,
Good eye there, I shouldn't type when I'm tired. Price is corrected in the post, thanks.

Thanks for the review. I think I'll have to get these now.

These are great. I've been contemplating a Viet Nam Weird War game in which a skirmish between U. S. Marines & V.C. near a lost temple of Dagon is crashed by Deep Ones. Equipped with the firearms these would be perfect. I've thought about running an historical skirmish game between unsuspecting players faced with a twist--Pig Wars between Vikings & Celts with Dark Elves interrupting, a Boot Hill feud crashed by a Witch & vampires, etc. I ran a few WWWII con games with the SS vs the Resistance or the Brits or Russians with the deaders becoming zombies but the players knew this was possible. This might irk a player who signed up expecting a straight forward historical game.
