I have some of the 15mm mounted French Personalities from the Hundred Years War Old Glory Crecy and Poitiers range…, and was wondering if anyone can identify who the figures are meant to specifically represent?

I do believe the designer made them to be "generic representations" and not actual characters?

Thanks for letting me know the French mounted personalities are generic Russ, I presume the same is true for the 15mm HYW mounted English personalities by Old Glory?

They are only generic until you name them. Then their personalities and status in life change; and "bingo" you have just whom you want for your journey into battles and such.

+1 Zeelow. Once you check that the figure has an appropriate style of armor and you research the right heraldry, you have the leader you want!

The crests on some of them should narrow them down. I think one of the English is supposed to be the Black Prince, but the angle of the photo makes it hard to be sure. My guess would be bottom right.

The centre bottom figure in the French pack looks very like this pic of King John of Bohemia link though it isn't exactly a primary source.

Thanks, I wonder if the 15mm versions are based on the 25mm OG version, that are described as "6 Individual Mounted Poses (King Jean- Bertrand du Guscalin- Audrehem- etc.)"

They are based on the 25mm ones and I just do not know who they are?

This is my kind of comedy!
Exactly who is etc..????

Though a dyed-in-the-wool Napoleonaphile, I got some medieval Hotspur figures back for DBMM that is much played locally, from a pal I'd given them to a decade ago; I'd originally painted them near 30 years ago…

And I'm being a little nawty, inspired by making them into a somewhat fictitious 'army' of I hope humourous proportions, not taking the period seriously at my own risk… no known characters and 'personalities' based on my other big hobby, wines!

SO Burgundy shall be strong in this one… ;-)
