These carvings were done just a few years after the fall of Granada. The dress and armament had not changed much. They are one of the best sources for Spanish and Moorish soldiers of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. |

Intriguing that Aleman appears to have started carving the stalls some years before the Fall of Granada in 1492 |
