Here are some recent ships that have come out of the shipyard. All are scratchbuilt in 1/700 scale. Some are tricked out with spare boats, etc. Front to back: Moltke and Von der Tann Texas and Corbett The doomed 1st Cruiser Squadron: Warrior, Defence, Black Prince and Duke of Edinburgh Ships of the French Far East squadron, circa 1882 Corbett, Devastation, Amiral Duperee (Armo kit) Victoria, Inflexible, Hero South Dakota, Constitution, Omaha

They are brilliant! Where did you get the plans for them from? I was thinking of doing a few WW1 ships and 3D printing them, but I've not been able to find anything but very basic outlines. I'm sure there used to be lots of plans available on the web.

There was a recent kickstarter that had all the US, German and British ships in it.

The wood decks are Reapermini tanned shadow 09043. The ones on the French far east squadron are same but stained with GW Agrix Earthshade wash. The cage masts are Toms Modelworks etched brass. Cannot really take credit for the lattice there. 5 bucks a crack still makes the overall ship cheaper than anything plastic or resin. Anytime I order from freetimehobbies.com I pick up one or two just to have some on hand.

Top notch work. Looks better than anything I have seen come out of a mould.
