Well this one seems to have beaten the four hour rule.

Maybe weekends apply? This is how to beat the system.

OK, let us generate some discussion.

What are such WWII relics actually worth? Who buys them then? Museums or collectors or re-enactors?

I imagine an M4A1 in running order, with some provenance (ie it did actually leave the USA), is worth a fortune. A rusted up non-running German AFV is surely still going to fetch more than an Allied soft-skin dredged up from a Dutch canal. But what sort of figures are we talking about these days?

There was a Laffly truck in the last video, rare bird indeed.
And in a relatively good shape too. I'd really see it repaired and have a place in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur…

Foxbat, your input at least makes it more likely this topic will survive the "four hour rule".

I think this is worth "Discussion" and that alone might save it. Thanks.

I hope they evac and repair those vehicles and place them in museums, etc. for historical, etc., purposes/reasons. History is too important to forget.

Before museums… believed it or not… they tried to sold them to particular people first…

Thanks for the comments….

It seems to work quite well actually. God help you if you are at the bottom of the heap, when Reagan's trickle down economy proves a bit stagnant. But, if you are down there, you are gefucht in any system, whether ultra fascist or radical communist, even anarchist. Shame really. Socialism is such a good idea, if only it actually worked in practice.

Mind you. 1977 I was working in UCH Casualty, central London (ER across the Pond). Really nice US tourist of a certain age pitched up with a Colles Fracture of her wrist. I reduced it, set in POP and sent her on her way, with all kinds of docs re treatment once back home. Her husband asked about paying and simply could not believe my response. Different now of course, but back then, we helped people. Never forget that couple…..
