A few 15mm "Frigian" miniatures I recently finished painting marching off to war.

They look great, in my opinion. I like the "accurate" shields, which I would also paint on my own, if I owned any, that is. I also prefer the same single basing method, though I realize I am in a tiny minority as far as that is concerned.

By single basing, I can use all my miniatures for any game system, just by using a magnetized movement tray, or for skirmish.

Once you get past the idea of freehanding, its not that big a deal, while mine may not be fancy, the freehanding works fairly easily. Still doable at 15mm. I also give my 15mm mini's eyes if at all possible, a black dot close to the correct place.

Very nice!

I'm not getting into any other scales, but darn it if I don't spend time perusing their 15mm fantasy, when I should be plotting out the next 25mm sci-fi order.
