I seem to be getting well engrossed in modelling aerosans. I've just completed another two, this time they are NKL-16s, a bit bigger than the "armoured" NKL-26s which I made last week.

More info on my blog, along with future plans for other types.

Cool stuff. I hadn't heard of them (or had forgotten about them). The wikipedia article indicates that the first ones were made in the early 1900s.

I seem to remember reading that these had the armour protection equivalent to a touring caravan.

Nice work – and I have to think this is not the sort of thing I would want to be sitting in when the Finnish machine gunners got the range!

Particularly for those infantry that were transported clinging to the outside!

Does this mean that you would like to walk on foot in the position of the Finnish machine gunners? And – up to the waist in the snow)))
