I seem to be getting well engrossed in modelling aerosans. I've just completed another two, this time they are NKL-16s, a bit bigger than the "armoured" NKL-26s which I made last week. More info on my blog, along with future plans for other types. link

Cool stuff. I hadn't heard of them (or had forgotten about them). The wikipedia article indicates that the first ones were made in the early 1900s. |

I seem to remember reading that these had the armour protection equivalent to a touring caravan. |
