What I did this week was complete a building from scratch. It's 25/30mm scale. Mostly constructed from 2mm card, the base is MDF. Painted with Docrafts Artiste acrylics. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Thank you for the under construction photo. Gives lots of ideas on how to make something like it.

You should be pleased! Very nice work--and again, thanks for the construction photo. (Though shouldn't there be a fir tree on top in that one?)

Impressive. You should charge rent to any figures occupying it.

Yes – I should have had a 'topping out' ceremony!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

Excellent effort and result. Congrats! How did you do the window frames/glass?

Badgerlock22 Apr 2021 10:03 a.m. PST

How did you do the window frames/glass?

I drew the windows in a simple computer drawing program (Microsoft Visio) and printed them on my home printer. I gave them a coat of semi gloss varnish to make the paper a bit more durable and give the 'glass' a bit of a shine. Then just cut them out and glued them in place.
