These are the beautifully sculpted Gladiator/Black Hat Aztecs sculpted by Josef Ochmann. I have a bunch of these but Ruben's painting puts mine to shame. Very impressive. |

There are links within the link. If you follow them there are wonderful pictures of expertly painted miniatures and a good narrative (in Spanish) describing the armies and their weapons. Wonderful blog. |

These are the beautifully sculpted Gladiator/Black Hat Aztecs sculpted by Josef Ochmann I was so impressed with them that I bought the range when Black Hat sold off its 15mm lines. Currently redoing the moulds for some of the codes. Ian fighting15s.com |

It seems I am a late arrival to Mesoamerican gaming. I have recently put together an Aztec army made up of 350 miniatures from various manufacturers, but have not decided on what rule set to use. I have plenty of time to decide though as I still need to collect my Spanish and Tlaxcalan forces. These will probably come from outpost as their range is my favorite. Buildings however will be from the Warlords of Erehwon Mythic America and the Battlefield Accessories pyramid and possibly some others. I wish someone would do a similar offering to Flint and Feather but for Mesoamerica……. These 15s look very detailed for the size but of course an expert paint job helps to define the detail. |
