I normally wargame aerial and naval campaigns with my lad, but having watched the Tombstone campaign on LWTV – YouTube link – I thought it would be good fun to do a three-faction campaign with my son and daughter.

So, my question is: are there any decent ranges out there which have a selection of armed women suitable for the Old West? I'm looking for normally dressed, preferably a selection of townsfolk types and maybe some in 'cowboy' attire. There seem to be plenty of ranges out there but precious few containing women.

Thanks,

Nick

I recall some of of the Dixon Western characters are more normally dressed. Not sure how they scale with newer ranges?

Dixon may be a bit small. However, they are still worth a look link . I was quite taken by one Dixon figure who was wearing trousers and a shirt--men clothes--with just a touch of feminine lace around the buttons.

Reaper sells some female Old West figures who tend to be dressed in jeans, blouse, boots and cowboy hat.

Eureka? Marketed a set of "Earp Sisters" that could work.

Several companies have women with weapons in both 15mm and 25+mm.

Ditto on the Dixon figures. Traditional 25 mm figures but for women they work well with 28 mm men.

How many figures do you need? Send me a personal note and I might have some to sell you already painted.
