I'm finding these strips amazingly fast to paint, they look great at arms length but stand a little closer scrutiny, clearly the mass impact of thousands of them will be impressive on the table top. I'm thinking of a return to 1st edition Fire & Fury brigade rules that I played extensively back in the 90's was it? Meantime I'll just keep fleshing out the units until the zouaves and iron brigade sets arrive. They may be resin but they are also bloody expensive, that said I'm in for the long haul here :)

Been busy? Nice. Thanks for posting. I am still trying to resist getting some. You are making it harder.

Great job! They really do look great en masse.

Lee, speaking of the long haul, look at the depth and breadth of all those ranks!

Actually, in the distant views – seeing their varied leg and hand positions, the little guys look like they're in motion.

Wonderful stuff!

Man, they do look impressive massed like that. Great job, grambo! Silly as it is, one thing stopping me from jumping in is the lack of bayonets on these regular (normal) troops. I know the IB and Zouaves have them. Hopefully they'll issue normal troops bayonets at some point. Civil War troops simply must have "bayonets glinting in the sun" while marching into battle!

You'll need a whole lot more of these for F&F. Nice work!

You are a painting machine! It would take me a year to paint 600 figures!
