In a fierce battle with friends how do you handle a brush with danger?

Just pretend it didn't happen.

Usher them outside and block the pet door?

It does remind me of the slogan in one of the many hairdressers in the city Leiden (The Netherlands): "Not satisfied ? You get your hair back !"

Welders Gloves! Must avoid claws at all cost!

Maybe the post should have been the danger with brushes.

What kind of thinner does one use to clean said brush…? ;-)

Nuke the entire installation from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Now that I think about it, that would make for some great smoke and burning markers.

See…look on the bright side!!!!

As to smoke and burn markers, only a long haired cat's
human could ever think of something like that. When I
had a Maine Coon, I was always astonished after brushing
her that I had enough fur to make another cat! And of all
things, she loved being brushed. She acted just like a little
princess.

Great comment, Bashytubits! LOL
