Have been idly looking for a manufacturer for Japanese MGs. etc…preferably in 1/76 to add to/convert old Airfix figs.(The set with a Nambu gunner is rare and don't want more 'others' just for that pose! Matchbox… just try to find!)

SHQ do not have a 'small arms' set for Japanese, although they do have figure sets which would, I'm sure, be excellent. Curious.

Have you tried SHQ Miniatures or Early War Miniatures?

Thanks, BillyNM. Neither has Japanese Small Arms sets, but will see how EWM figs go along with 1/76. MG / Mortar teams should 'fit' ok, anyway! Trying some of their other items, too!

SHQ do good stuff… already have Tank Commanders and some small arms packs for other nations.

Thanks, both.

Esci's old soft plastic set included the MMG which looked a lot like a French Hotchkiss – perhaps it would be worth looking at French equipment at a pinch, three foot rule and all that for 20mm. Also Brens for the Jap LMG?

Had been considering Bren and Hotchkiss… but, thanks to Hornswoggler's link, I will have LOADS of Japanese stuff! :)
