A group of us in San Diego are contemplating a project where we model our small local battle of San Pasqual at 1:1. We're contemplating scales. Does anyone know if the 18mm Eureka figs are compatible with Blue Moon 15mm? I've only seen BM ACW but they definitely seem to be more like 18mm. Thanks. |

Blue Moon tend to run small – I have both Blue Moon and Old Glory 15mm Napoleonics – those do not mix. I use them as separate units and they are ok, but you do notice the difference. |

AFAIK all Blue Moon are 18mm. The Blue Moon MAW clearly look 18mm from the photos online. Many years ago, I had an American army of Eureka 18mm MAW. Those were lovely figures. I would assume they will work with the Blue Moon MAW. I would not use them with the *original* Old Glory 15mm MAW. My Eureka towered above my oOG 15mm ACW. I wouldn't even use the oOG 15mm as separate units in the same army as my Eureka 18mm. I sold my army because I found myself having to provide the Mexicans, didn't want to buy more Eureka 18mm, and didn't want to go with the cheaper shorter oOG 15mm MAW. I don't remember the BM MAW being available at that time. |

I can only compare Napoleonics but BM and AB are compatible in height but BM is a bit chunkier. No problems if in separate units. |

The Eureka 18mm horses are BIG. I doubt they'll look right on the table anywhere near the anemic Blue Moon nags |
