Working on a new army for "Republique" rules and need a bit more information about this general. R.K. Riehn's "1812: Napoleon's Russian Campaign" lists the 33rd Div. in XI Corps as commanded by Gen. Destres; an online search turned up Gen. Francois Destres (with an acute accent on the second "e"), F-A Desprez, and Francois Detres. Are these merely variations in spelling? Who is this fellow, since I'd like my Neapolitans to be commanded by someone rather than a non- entity. I'm sure that would encourage them to fight better.
