Hi guys I'm half way through these German infantry for my Stalingrad project, have done the base coat and an oil wash, will do highlights next. I have also started a terrain tile project, I bought this green teddy bear fur 6 years ago, and have used it as a gaming mat with scatter terrain laid over the top, but I wanted to give a tile terrain system a go, using cork floor tiles for a base, then foam to give depth, and the fur over the top which I will shape, I have a sand coloured fur on order for variety. Figures and the tiles look terrific. Great groundwork on the minis also. Hope there's a tile tutorial later. Good luck with it. |

Gunner, great ideas on your tiles here – tieing cork, foam, and fur into one scenics project – looks like innovation at work! |

Yeah, it's coming along nicely, have glued the fur down and shaved some roads into it, starting to take shape, pics tomorrow. |

Infantry looks wonderful Dan. Am looking forward to seeing this terrain project unfold, so will keep checking your blog, and your opinions on the foamboard over cork… thinking of that combo for my Tunisia project. |

Hey, remembered having made up something similar to your project here Gunner – but for lay-on coastal terrain for Cruel Seas gaming! TMP link No doubt it'll work for modules too. In this instance, I chose the cork base material for the sandy look I could get out of it, to reflect beaches. |
