I saw this on a Washington Post article about the current issues in Myanmar. Not concerned with the politics but I thought this was a rather eclectic mix of military vehicles:

Is that a Ferret in the foreground? Looks like some old hardware. I'm no expert in identification but looks like a carrier of sorts in the background and the tank looks WW2 vintage but I'm not sure. Can anyone identify the various vehicles? Thanks!

I see Dingos, Ferrets, Comets, Brens … not sure what the tree turreted ACs are in the second row.

Are they Humbers WW2 vintage?

I think that the three between the Dingos and the Universal Carriers are Humber armoured cars.

Holy cow! WWII on parade.

I'm guessing its a museum type parade of the old British kit. Wikipedia doesn't list those vehicles as military equipment for their armed forces.

They're in good nick, aren't they…?

What's with the whitewall tires? They look cool on a '57 Chevy, but look ridiculous on military vehicles. It would appear to be an Asian country thing (Norks, China, Myanmar), except Russia utilizes them too, or used to.

There was a clip of the parade on the BBC news today, it showed in passing the Comet and a Humber.

They appeared to have signs on the side, much like a museum exhibit. I assumed that's what they were. A shame, as the idea of someone still using Comets is rather appealing….
