Evening all, It's that time of the week again i'm afraid, and this time I thought you'd all like to take a look at my French Napoleonic Army, consisting of 25 battalions of infantry and more… Plenty of photos over on my blog link As always, comments and feedback welcome Regards J |

At my current rate of progress, maybe 20 years to get an army of that size Your army is beautiful – I'm not at all jealous, really John |

Spectacular! Very interesting to see that the more or less uniform pose of the figures on the non-skirmish infantry stands, multiplied across so many battalions, registers a very strong visual effect. More like an actual army, seen from above, than a group of battalions. Also admired the mounted officer stands. Gorgeous work! |

Impressive but if facing Russians you will need more artillery |

Very nice indeed. I am almost finished with my 18mm Russian First Western Army. I also have both Grenadier Divisions from the 2nd Western Army so I can actually interchange armies when needed. I did a tremendous amount of painting this year during COVID. |

Those look great! It looks like most of your infantry bases are 3x2 for six figures per base, correct? It looks like a very effective basing method, visually speaking. What size of base did you use for your infantry and cavalry? |
