I realized that I don't have a favorite acrylic mustard yellow paint. That deep yellow with a hint of khaki or brown. It just isn't in my pallette. What brand/name is your go-to mustard color paint?

Are we painting German tanks? If so, always Tamiya Dark Yellow, airbrushed. Damon.

I had German mustard with my Polish sausage last weekend, and my stomach was OK, so I guess WW2 is really over.

My goto for acrylics is Yellow Oxide. (Liquitex specifically but should be about the same for any artist acrylics.) Chris

Americana Antique Gold is a good one for me, also great as a base coat for brighter yellows

Humbrol acrylic M24 Trainer Yellow turned out to be a really good mustard yellow. I'm uncertain if they have now corrected their error or not.

I use Vallejo Goldbrown, which also has the added advantage of very good coverage.

Vallejo Green Ochre. It's called green but it is the perfect dunkelgelb. Trust me.

I have an old GW Bubonic yellow – an octagonal pot several generations of GW paints old. Out of production in the seventies ? But still going strong !

Will any of the above recommendations work for the yellow stripes on WWII Japanese tanks? thanks in advance for any help.
