Does anyone, know of anyplace that one could go to be safe from the incessant hype about the flaming Snyder Cut of Justice League? Its worse than the run up to an election. Ive been hearing the endless drumbeat about this since 2017. I didn't care then. I care less now. And I'm sure that as soon as it is released the battlecry will be make the sequel that is necessitated as the Snyder Cut is apparently a massive cliffhanger. Maybe I could manage a medically induced coma. |

Disconnect from the internet and turn off the news. It's all degenerated into #@%$ anyway (TMP being one of the few exceptions). |

I don't have a clue as to what you are talking about, so perhaps you need to change which media and posts you are viewing to be like me. |

I'm with Thresher01. Snyder Cutt would make a good name for character in role-playing game. |

Snyder Cur, isn't that what happens when you have a bris? (ok, ok, I know what the Snyder Cut is, I just don't care,) |

And now, Exeter, you've brought it to TMP. If you don't care for discussion of something, the first thing is not to spread it to new places. |

I'm guessing it's a director's cut of a movie I never saw anyway and while I wish I had an interest in seeing it, I don't like the dark hash they've made of DC comics (especially Superman), so I won't be. If I decide to watch anything based on DC Comics it will be pre-millennial, when such things were still fun. Batman: The Animated Series The Adventure of Lois and Clark The Flash (John Wesley Shipp) Those are the versions I'd rather see. |

Justice League (and I know this isn't a popular viewpoint) was pretty good – it did feel that it had been a bit cut for the screen (Cyborg seemed very underdeveloped). Reviews of the Director's cut have not been great, but since I'm not a Marvel Universe Only movie go-er/watcher I'll probably see it at some point. |

We get HBO Max free with our mobile plan, so we'll be watching it soon. It's 4 hours long, 30 minutes shorter than the extended edition of Return of the King. The director's cut to Justice League adds Darkseid into the fray. I always felt Steppenwolf as the sole baddie was odd. I'd love to see Granny Goodness as well, and would die if Ed Asner played her. Hopefully this film fixes JL like the director's cut fixed Batman v Superman. I like the DC movies. They entertain me, and I'm a 60 year old Boomer. They're not Shakespeare, but neither is Disney Marvel. Almost all Disney Marvel leaves me cold, and I've grown tired of their Phases and wokeness. Parzival, those Batmans are now on HBO Max, moved over from the defunct DC streaming. I have all those on DVD, and have the Adventures comics from the 90s still in 10.0 condition because I've always been retentive with my stuff. Somehow I bought 2 copies of Harley Quinn's 1st appearance but I ain't complaining! Mad Love! I was in my 30s and was laughed at for buying "kids" comics. Whose laughing now!?! Mwahaha! Oh..sorry..time to take my meds.. |

A longer version of a bad movie does not become a great movie. And a longer version of an adequate movie, as seen here, does not become a great movie either. Though Cyborg does get a little more rounded out as do others. |
