Not quite the same thing, but for my Vietnam armies all troopers have a three digit code. Platoon number – squad number – trooper number with the trooper number the position within the squad. 120 – squad leader of the second squad of the first platoon. 239 – low man in the third squad second platoon. I keep the weapon type standard thru out the platoons. That way any trooper number 4 is the SAW gunner. |

Excellent idea, Col Durnford. But I'm thinking of games with fewer and more individualized figures for this--probably no more than 12 figures per side and possibly half that. Can't believe none of us thought of FW-190, who's a tough fighter, or SF-312, the security officer. |
