I know Stargrave comes out in April and is the sci fi version of Frostgrave. Where can I find out more about it please? The Osprey site doesn't have much about it.

There's a facebook page: facebook.com/Stargrave

And the author's blog is here: link

There are also a few videos on youtube from people with advanced copies.

There is a thread on Lead Adventure Forum that Nick from Northstar started that has some previews and info that might be of use?

I doubt I'll play the game but I am interested in the new plastic miniatures Northstar will release

Beaky Nose11 Mar 2021 4:56 a.m. PST

That's real helpful thanks guys. Those plastic minis look great!

Is it me or do the weapons still look contemporary? At least Star Wars did a pretty good job of concealing their real world inspiration!

*cough* Han Solo's Mauser C96… :-)

Those plastic sets look nice! Any guesses as to price? The article said there were 20 minis in a box, and lots more options than those shown. Which is a fantastic variety!

My guess is they will be priced the same as the Northstar Frostgrave plastic sets so about £20.00 GBP a box. The word on the street is the will be compatible size wise with the fantasy sets which would open up some interesting conversion potential.

I been reading up more on Stargrave now and am gettign stoked. Frostgrave wasn't my bag but I'm all over the sci fi.

Woo Hoo!!! I got my Stargrave rule book yesterday.

Got my Amazon Kindle version of the rule book a couple of days ago. Any figures can be used with the rules.

Norrins – Weapons are equivalent to contemporary small arms. No heavy weapons in the rules at this point.

So is this a role-playing game or something else?

andresf07 May 2021 5:06 p.m. PST

No, it's not a role-playing game. It's an action-oriented miniatures skirmish game, like the popular Frostgrave.
