I recently unearthed an old collection of micro armour and terrain from about 20 years ago and wondered what they would look like under the scrutiny of the camera.
The forces were for Barbarrossa 1941 and were organised on something like a one platoon = one company basis though some elements seem to have got lost.
Anyway here are some photos of the Germans, supposedly 9th Panzer Division. Vehicles and figures are all GHQ, buildings are Timecast.

Pz Regt HQ, 1st Bt hQ, 2nd Co and 4th Co:

Pz Regt HQ:

2nd Bt HQ, 5th, 6th and 8th Cos:

Schutzen Bt HQ, 1st, 2nd and 4th (MG) Cos:

1st Co:

Part of the Artillery Regt:

2nd Pz Co moves through a village. The Regt HQ has already chosen its lodgings for the night.

Some Krupp Protzes follow:

Meanwhile some armoured cars traverse a hamlet that's already been visited by the Luftwaffe:

They are followed by 5th Pz Co:

I hope you like these photos. I'll do some of the Soviets next; masses of armour!

Excellent set of pics. I really like GHQ vehicles, got a few dozen Soviet tanks etc somewhere in the lead pile. The terrain is pretty fine as well.

Looks like everything has survived over the 20 years. A good looking little force.

The models and photography look great, the pictures alone tell a real story. Makes one feel like they are actually there. thumbs up

Excellent minis and terrain. Among the best, most inspiring 6mm ones I've seen. Bravo!
