Not disputing their attractiveness, but a universal service requirement does stack the deck a bit.

And it seems the IDF is pretty relaxed on their grooming standards. The IDF women look like women with their long hair hanging out. Good for them; women should look like women.

All the IDF ladies in the photos are wearing trousers. At the time of the 1967 war, they often wore skirts. Since the IDF hadn't gotten around to specifying skirt length, the ladies could hem them up any way they pleased, and a great many of them were pleased to wear mini-skirts, like they wore in civilian life.
