I saw GM Alcove's Youtube with his new review. My copy arrived and it's a full FIVE STARS, well worth a look. Maps are wonderful and the uniform plates are full pose with front and back views. Horse equipment has been added as well. The book is hard cover and a major step up from the 1813 and the 1814 scenario books I have. GM Alcove, "My flip-Through Review of the new series 3 campaign guide for the ESR rules: "To Assure My Dynasty". If you are a fan of the war in Spain during the Napoleonic Wars, check this out." Additional points I should have made, GM's Fritz showed the footnotes, you see pages 100-105 which are reference notes just for the FRENCH. It can be confusing and the footnotes explain the unique qualities by battalion found in Spain during these years. Detailed. Additional point, GM's Fritz talked about using the book with other rule systems. The battles are smaller engagements then found in my other editions. Using the template that is found in many of Michael Hopper's books of two by three miles, the battlefields can be transferred to this scale gaming. |

the 1812 book that's been scheduled for Reprint over a year now! Your patience will be rewarded. It's moving forward. Recently spent some time hammering some dents out of the Valutina Gora/Loubino scenario. |
