I just got the new Wargames Atlantic French resistance figures and they are simply superb! I can't wait to get started on these. Take a look for yourself here link

Just saw these in my hobby shop yesterday. They looked mighty impressive!

From the sprue it appears they have a variety of small arms that could serve in all sorts of pulp and other games involving armed civilians in the 1930s and 40s-depending on clothing styles, maybe into the 1950s.

Since it's (1) I'm guessing there will be more for other theaters?

No female resistance fighters…shame.

Great looking set, including my favourite pistol ever, the broomhandle Mauser

I can see a lot of utility for these figs – thanks for the great review!

And they fit well size-wise with the Great War Germans, so if you have that kit there are even more weapons and arms available

I like that the body is a solid piece.

Look good for fighting daleks too!

Most sets of Atlantic Wargames are splendid. Their Persian sprue has 17 heads on it for 5 bodies, while Victrix has just 8 for 4 bodies. On the other hand, Victrix made 6 sprues, AW just this one (though they are fully compatible).

If this topic is yours, give them a shot.

International Brigades possibilities here, perhaps with suitable weapon arms from Bolt Action added.
