I thought it might be interesting for you to know how I store my miniatures. As I don't have that much storage space I needed a stackable solution. As I travel a lot I had to have storage wich is small enough to fit in a backpack or suitcase and the figures should be safe during travel. The solution I came up with is metal foil and rare earth magnets.

I use a similar solution but there's no way I could turn the box upside down and not lose all the figures. well done.

Dude, spend a few bucks and get something that really works.

Gamesplus Products foam trays and bag. You can toss these things down the stairs and not have to worry about a broken spear, bow or dislodged horse rider. EVER!

I use steel bases, cardboard boxes and sheet magnet.

I had one of these boxes with me on a flight to a holiday destination , mind you before Covid, and they dropped my stuff during offloading the luggage. Nothing has moved inside. So am very happy with the solution I found. By the way the box is 2€ the steel sheet strips are 1€ per meter ( you need about 90cm per box. The rare earth magnets are 10€ per 100 . So not very expensive either.

How thick are the earth magnets? Do they stick out from the washer on either side?
