We tried a remote live stream game yesterday evening, Brandy Station using the Bloody Big Battles ruleset. We managed about halfway in two and a half hours, may try and finish it tomorrow.

That is some high class distillation, Matt! Very nice AAR. Having played your scenario myself, I can vouch that it is a good 'un.

Yes, my experience too is that such online games take significantly longer than face-to-face, though probably not twice as long. We usually have four to six players, so while it is faster when we are all round the table and players are doing things in parallel, there is still some waiting around as the left flank moves faster or slower than the right (or whatever). Anyway, these days any gaming is better than no gaming, and having a game fill two evenings rather than one is not necessarily a bad thing.

Great terrain and minis – we are doing a two-Corps per side Napleonic battle via distance, and I have to say that it does take a much longer time than face to face

I don't have the cahones to attempt 6mm. You did an amazing job on this.
Everything nicely presented on your blog too.
