I had a game of Stars & Lasers the other night and played a scenario called "a Diplomatic Incident" Although this scenario only uses two ships it was great fun, I have written a battle report on my site - link

I could imagine the After Action Report of the UEF ship reading: "Upon entering the sector we noticed an Igstrevean ship which had been badly damaged by an asteroid collision. When we moved in to render assistance, the vessel inexplicably fired upon us and then activated its FTL drive. I can only assume that the collision had damaged its sensors and communications system and its commander thought, perhaps, that we were pirates intent on attacking them. I can think of no other explanation for their hostile actions." |
