Carnage and Glory has just released their new ACW campaign rules designed to be used in conjunction with the ACW tactical rules. The campaign system, which can also be used for Franco-Prussian war, includes movement by rail and a host of period specific enhancements to the previous Napoleonic/SYW/AWI system. To support the ACW campaign system they have also made available a set of campaign maps covering the eastern theater of operations and related Orders of Battle.

The ACW campaign system, maps and OB's can be found on their website. link

Interested in this. If I GM the campaign, is there a max number of players I can have playing?

No there is no limit to the number of players you have participating in the Campaign. As long as you have a command for each player to actually run. Of course the more players you have involved the more the Campaign gets slowed down waiting on inputs from all those commanders.

I first looked at this and thought the program was reasonably price. But thought the individual scenario packs & maps were kinda pricey. Now after spending the money and seeing the work that was put into them. They are well worth the money! So glad I purchased these.

Also should clarify, the Campaign program does not come with any Army lists. Nor does the campaign program allow you to make any army lists.

In order to use the campaign program, you either have to purchase a scenario pack that has the maps and army lists.

or

Purchase the Tactical program. You can make army lists in the tactical program. Then import them into the campaign program.
