In yet another example of wierd diplomacy, the Greek military is deploying Patriot SAMs to KSA. link
I wonder how much KSA is paying for this? And then the other question, why is Greece deploying high end assets to KSA when the Turks are agitating more than any time since 1974? And yet another example of how the west is effectively prostituting itself to the highest bidders, who are often countries that meet the definition of fascist. The other thing I personally believe in is, if Greece is willing to dilute its military to kowtow to KSA, then they do not deserve any assistance if the Turk decide to attack. Why should American or British or French young men and women die to defend those who are unwilling to defend themselves and instead use their military as a glorified mercenary force to protect rich authoritarian regimes? |

Wow, arealdeadon….that's a LOT of speculation for such a short post. And what is "alert 5." Their "about" button really says nothing. |

Alert 5 is an aviation news sight. It mainly posts links posted to other sources. The original source is in Greek and needs to be run through a translator. You can get an earlier article discussing the agreement on the Drive which is fairly reliable IMO link |

Sorry to ask about the source, but, unfortunately, today anyone can set up a site, claim to be an expert, and say anything they want. Without a way to verify or validate the blog/source, I'm always a little hesitant to accept something at face value. I try to stick to generally accepted/validated sites. There's always the temptation to accept sites that present views with which we already agree. I'll read a site, but with a grain of salt until I'm comfortable with the information presented over time. Ahhhh, the times in which we live. |

Yes, generally many things you find in the media is not only "inaccurate" but biased as well. |
