LWTV has begun a campaign on the Pyrrhic War and their Patreon supporters are indirectly involved. Playing as Roman senators, we are allowed to vote for the Consul who will face off against Pyrrhus and get more up-to-date info on the resulting games.

My whole family are fans of LWTV and we decided to make a fan-film in the form of a faux-newscast about the opening of the campaign that you can watch without being a Patreon supporter. The initial response has convinced me the video was good enough to post on TMP. There will be more such videos.

Great job, I had a few laughs. I will be looking forward to these continuing and wish Rome best of luck against those dasdardly Greeks. Epirotes…whatever, they're all foreigners.

Nice reporting Chuck Dice. The "news" seems to have a Roman slant. Will there be any "reporting" from the Greek cities such as Tarentum? There must be a Roman spy or two with access to a flock of carrier pigeons that could give a peek from the other side of the hill.

May the gods support the right. An early example of the bias of the Main Stream Media. King Pyrrhus for victory, truth, justice and the Hellinic way!

Hello All.

And thank you for your kind words! The video is a family project, involving both my wife and son who contributed mightily – "behind the scenes." I'm an old-school gamer and know minis and gaming. My wife is a music artist who knows what it takes to put together a good recording session, and my son is a good video editor and understands how to put together a video on a budget. Together we are WT.

@ Big Red: We here at Wargames Tonight would LOVE to interview Pyrrhus and get a Greek perspective on this conflict, but we can only report on what we see and hear, and that is controlled by LWTV. So to those who want to see and hear more from Pyrrhus and the Greeks, I suggest you reach out to LWTV and tell them you want Chuck Dice and WT to interview him! His identity is secret, but we imagine it could be arranged. Your pleas will gain weight if you are a LWTV Patreon supporter of course! (just $1 USD a month will get you in).

But regardless, thanks for watching!

Looks like a lot of fun. And who knows liver divination may take off. It's just as (in)valid as astrology..
